Gone but not forgotten!

Sadly most of you have heard that Moon Embers has lost their sim and gardens and is gone for the moment. Don't be crestfallen loves, it may not be forever. The Moon Embers owners, Jada Ember and Moonshadow Gray, are away on vacation till the end of August. This is when the fate of Moon embers will be decided.

To quote Moon

'The club has really picked up in pace lately, it saddens me to see it gone'

We all feel this way Moon.

The ladies may be away but the club will surely be on their minds. If anyone has land they would like to rent to the club on the cheap, let us know. Your good deeds will not go unmentioned. We love you and your generous heart already!

For those of you who attended ME's you know there was a huge club, lots of games and a lovely garden/beach area next door to wander through alone or with a loved one. It will come again... I can not speak for the ladies but I know that in all our hearts the club will live on always! In the mean time let's all wish them a happy vacation and a fun one.
We will miss you ladies!

Much love

Your loyal attendees.

Stella Silvansky Live @ Moon Embers!

Stella took the Moon Embers stage tonight at 6pm SLT and by 6:01pm SLT I was blown away. If you haven't seen or heard Stella perform in second life - please stop whatever you are doing and contact Sarah Yorkshire for scheduling and fees. :)
You have to experience Stella's show to know how wonderful SL musicians can be. Think seeing live concerts in a virtual world is a waste of time?
I so beg to differ.
I have seen quite a few good live shows here then please go see Stella and have your mind forever changed. I requested Lisa Loeb - She played Stay for me and Lisa herself would have been proud of her rendition. I stood, I howled, I clapped, I cried at one point at a song so beautiful I missed the name of it and I am positive that if in five seconds (Though I am exhausted) I would stand up, dust off and head to the next show without missing a beat.
Ok so let's get into my actual review for our fabulous Moon embers, shall we?

Stella Silvansky was a one woman rebiks cube of amazement. Her songs included covers from Lisa Loeb, Adele, Suzanne Vega (yeah she went there and did Tom's diner awesomely.) She is also willing to cover so many other great singers (the number is truly staggering) and no need to fear said cover - her vocals are astounding. I can honestly say if this artist put out her own cd I would be online @ Amazon.com right now preordering it cause Jewel ain't got nothing on Stella. I know my music people! I am going to include a list of songs that Ms. Stella does covers of (She does others I am sure.) So you are prepared when you go to see her yourself.
By the way - The song that made me cry was Cindy Lauper's true colours - requested for me by my wonderful Viticus. Stella sang it so well I couldn't keep my eyes dry. Please go see Stella.. cause I saw her true colours shining through and that is why I loved her performance.
You can't hide personality. Stella has it. I am a true and new fan to her fan club but I will stay devoted. Come see why.
Thank you moon embers for the fantastic performance and thank you Stella for warming my heart on a very cold New England night. The rain isn't so bad when you have good music and yours was great!

Djane Cooper

She took us back to Motown. We all had big hair (tonight) huge fros. Scary man, scary. Jada and Moon looked groovy and the music was out of sight! Djane Cooper gave us vertigo with the beat of her tunes. I haven't been to Motown in a long time (ok I've never been but the trip was nice...even if the hair did scare me.)

Don your Aqua Helm and dance the night away with this dj in Motown or any town, it was a great deal of fun!

Did I mention the outfits?
I'll see you at Moon Embers any night of the week cause to find a place that feels like home, where you can laugh, hang out and have fun is rare in the world and I have found my home in Second life at one of the greatest clubs around for women.
Thank you Jada and Moon for providing us this great place to hang out at and thank you DJane Cooper, your event was great fun!

Anything you would like to add Cooper?
Cooper Janus: Tell them my real name is Captain Swallows-cox

Djane Alurya

She took over the Moon Embers dance floor @ 3pm SLT and rocked it till 6pm SLT. We had a good crowd today at the club and in the future would love to see this crowd grow. If you enjoy life performances, being around a women only crowd, close friends, or the opportunity to take your lady out to a classy club in second life - where there is no sleaze *looks around* no dance poles, none of the crap the other clubs sell to make ya wanna go. Just good clean fun in a safe place.

Come see Djane Alurya and the others here every week. We do many new and original events just for fun. On Friday (June 19th) please join us for Dj Jennifer Python and her Super hero event, sounds like it will be super.

Good job Djane Alurya!

Coming up next Djane Cooper. See you @ Moon embers!

*Side note* It says Alurya did the post cause it is her account but to be fair because she didn't feel right posting about her own event I did it~ Viticus*

Evamoon Ember performed for us tonight @ Moon Embers and tickled our funny bones! What a great performance here at this great club. The following is stolen from her very own profile: Eva Moon skewers romance, sex, high tech and pop culture with smart, funny original songs. It's a tasty blend of Jazz, Funk, & Comedy. Think: Sheryl Crow meets Lily Tomlin
